Carver: Henry A. Carver: J. Carver: LL. For Email Marketing you can trust. Welcome to Mallar Decoys Toller Shed. F3 Other books have been written on the subject of factory decoys, particularly Mason decoys. Yet,many questions in the minds of collectors remained.
This void was the catalyst for this book which eliminates a lot of the uncertainty about the decoys produced by Mason, Dodge and Petersen. This is a landmark publication and a must have for all collectors, dealers and auction houses as it serves as a template for all of us to revisit the identification of decoys in our factory collections. The considerable material pages with photos and illustrations in this book is the result of more than twenty years of research by the authors Bill Dodge and Ronald Sharp.
Mallar Decoys considers this book a Must Buy! It is a full color, quality hard-bound book with pages and more than illustrations. Makes a great Christmas gift for the collector in your family. Buy one today! Stevens of Weedsport New York. Flat bottom Red Head in origin paint as well as condition.

FJY 6 These decoys are often mistaken for Masons. This I believe to be actually a Hayes Superior Grade glass eye model. Hays did a good job copying the shape of the Mason, but the paint detail was seldom as good. Although this was a later factory, there are less examples of this company as the output compared to Mason was limited.
Appears to be original paint as well as condition with the exception of neck repair work. Nice decoy for any factory collection.
Various rubs to the paint as shown attributed to in-use gunning wear. Neck filler missing and may have an old second coat of paint to the bill. Round bottom hunting decoy which is solid and showing very nice form and a wonderful old dark rich patina. Hays Black Duck J. Hays Wood Products Co.
Wood Products Co.Jasper Dodge started a small commercial carving business in his home in and expanded the next year when he bought out George Peterson Delph, FactoryEngers The company produced black duck, scaup, bufflehead, canvasback, mallard, merganser, pintail, redhead, teal, wigeon, brant, coot, goose, plover, snipe and swan decoys on a regular basis.
Advertisements boasted that a hunter could bring in any species for a model, and Dodge carvers could replicate it. Unless a customer specified otherwise, a decoy from the Dodge Company was solid white cedar. The decoys were turned on lathes and had wide shoulders, thick upturned tails and round chests and bottoms. On rare birds, the thick bill has separated mandibles carved in, but most have no detail. Painting styles vary quite a bit; areas of bold color are embellished with dots, scallops and other brushstrokes to represent plumage.Iniziati i test sierologici sulla polizia penitenziaria di torino
